Seller takeaway
What I would do with this data
Start here: what looks worth researching, what looks like busy work, and the benchmark I would check before buying inventory.
Look for dollars per seller
Luxury Bags & Accessories has about $28.6K in revenue per observed seller. That is often more useful than raw GMV.
Try this: Turn the category into a short sourcing list, then validate the brands and product terms inside it.
Use cadence as a reality check
The median top seller in this sample streamed 53 times in 30 days. The upper quartile is 79 streams.
Try this: If you cannot keep that pace, look for higher-value categories where fewer shows can work.
Cross-section signals
These charts show the shape of the market, not just the first result.
High cadence only works if you have repeatable inventory.
Where the category money sits
Sports Cards is still the biggest category at $194.3M in revenue, with 5.6M sold items across 126.8K streams. If you want volume, that's the core lane.
For a reseller, the better angle may be the scaled niches. Luxury Bags & Accessories, Tools, Bags & Accessories, and Sneakers already have enough size to matter without being the whole platform story.
Here's what I would look at: categories where you can source, explain, and move inventory fast without needing a huge show every time.
- Revenue leader: Sports Cards - $194.3M revenue
- Best stream economics: Luxury Bags & Accessories - $5.2K per stream
- Scaled niche: Luxury Bags & Accessories - $22.9M revenue
Hidden gem categories
These are the categories I would test first if I wanted cleaner competition or better stream economics than the biggest card lanes.
- Luxury Bags & Accessories: $22.9M revenue across 4.4K streams, or about $5.2K per stream.
- Tools: $5.9M revenue across 1.5K streams, or about $3.9K per stream.
- Gold Nuggets: $1.4M revenue across 384 streams, or about $3.8K per stream.
- Laptops, Phones & Tablets: $1.6M revenue across 521 streams, or about $3.2K per stream.
- Western & Southwestern Jewelry: $3.1M revenue across 1.1K streams, or about $2.8K per stream.
- Coins & Money: $33.5M revenue across 13.9K streams, or about $2.4K per stream.
- Coins & Bullion: $28.1M revenue across 11.9K streams, or about $2.4K per stream.
- Golf: $1.9M revenue across 803 streams, or about $2.3K per stream.
Scaled categories outside the card core
These are the categories I would put on a watchlist if I wanted a real lane, not just a trend spike.
- Bags & Accessories: $10.3M revenue across 4.6K streams, or about $2.3K per stream.
- Sneakers: $10.9M revenue across 5.2K streams, or about $2.1K per stream.
- Sporting Goods: $9.9M revenue across 4.9K streams, or about $2K per stream.
- Sneakers & Shoes: $11M revenue across 6K streams, or about $1.8K per stream.
- Gold & Silver Jewelry: $5.6M revenue across 3.7K streams, or about $1.5K per stream.
- Watches: $6.6M revenue across 4.6K streams, or about $1.4K per stream.
Revenue per stream is useful, but it does not show sourcing difficulty, authentication needs, or capital locked in stock.
A strong category can still be a bad buy if you cannot keep the show moving.
