Get started with Research

Research shows what sells on eBay and eBay Live, and prices open liquidation lots against real eBay sold listings, so you know what a lot is worth before you bid.

Three parts, one subscription

Every Research plan includes all three. Research what sells, then find lots that contain it.

AuctionsOpen liquidation and wholesale lots with manifests, with each line matched to eBay sold listings. eBay sold dataMarkets and products, with sales and revenue over time windows. eBay LivePulse for the last 30 minutes, plus reports on sellers, streams, categories, brands, products and customers.

Your first steps

  1. Start your free trial. New customers get 7 days free. A payment method is required at checkout.
  2. Open Auctions and pick a quick view. “Under max suggested bid” shows lots whose price is still below the most you could pay and make 25%. Find lots worth bidding on
  3. Open a lot and check the sales. Tap any manifest line to see the eBay sold listings behind its price. Read a lot page
  4. Research what’s inside. Look up a product or brand to see how much it sells for and how fast. Research eBay sold data
  5. Save what you want to watch. Then use “Check for changes” to see what moved. Save research

From research to buying

Product pages list open auction lots that may contain that product, matched by UPC or name (up to 20). Brand pages list open lots with that brand.

When you save a product page, Saved flags new lots that may contain it each time you check.
