Brands help, but the item type decides the trade
Coach is the biggest brand signal here at $2.5M in revenue and 29.2K sales. That makes it a useful watchlist brand, but it still needs the right category and style to comp cleanly.
Louis Vuitton and Gucci have much higher medians than mass brands, while lululemon athletica and Free People have more volume but tighter price bands. That mix is useful if you want both entry points and higher-ticket lanes.
When a brand is crowded, the buy has to be sharp. Condition, authenticity cues, and exact product line matter more because the marketplace is packed.

What to buy
Set saved searches on brands that have both demand and a comp range you can work with. Then look for the item types that usually sell above your buy floor. In this data, bags and certain premium accessories look more actionable than generic basics.
- Coach: $2.5M revenue, 29.2K sold, $54.69 median. Good for bag-led sourcing and structured comps.
- Louis Vuitton: $1.9M revenue, 5.3K sold, $196.68 median. Higher ticket, so counterfeit and condition checks matter more.
- Gucci: $1.3M revenue, 6K sold, $139.71 median. Crowded, but still a strong watchlist brand.
- lululemon athletica: $1.4M revenue, 45.7K sold, $25.11 median. Volume is there, but margins can get tight.
- Free People: $1.2M revenue, 30.7K sold, $29.55 median. Works better when the style is distinct and current.
- Tory Burch: $797.4K revenue, 11.4K sold, $50.38 median. A cleaner midrange brand for comping.
Brand names alone do not protect margin.
Crowded brands can still sell, but only if your buy price leaves room after fees and discounts.

Sort by revenue for overall demand, sales for liquidity, seller count for competition, and median price for margin potential.
Methodology
This report uses Poshmark sales data observed by Resellbot over last 30 days. The public page uses aggregated rows only: revenue, sales volume, seller counts, price signals, and trend metrics. It does not publish private account data, buyer identities, authentication data, or low-volume personal details.
- Daily aggregate rollups cover the last 30 days of public sold listing activity.
- Prices are filtered to $3-$5000 before public aggregation.
- Only aggregate marketplace metrics are exported; buyer identities, auth data, raw payloads, proxy details, and low-volume private details are excluded.
