How to validate comps
Check if the brand is actually selling in the item type you plan to source. Look at the most recent sold items, compare condition and size, and ignore inflated asking prices that never closed.
- High-price brands: Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and CHANEL need tighter authenticity and condition checks before you buy.
- Mid-range brands: Coach, Tory Burch, and Free People usually need cleaner margins and more comp depth.
- Active basics: lululemon athletica and Nike can work on volume, but the low median means your buy cost has to stay disciplined.
Brand-only sourcing is risky because category fit changes the price outcome a lot.
Crowded brands can still be good buys, but the extra competition means you need a sharper entry price.
How to use this report
Sort by revenue for overall demand, sales for liquidity, seller count for competition, and median price for margin potential.
Methodology
This report uses Poshmark sales data observed by Resellbot over last 30 days. The public page uses aggregated rows only: revenue, sales volume, seller counts, price signals, and trend metrics. It does not publish private account data, buyer identities, authentication data, or low-volume personal details.
- Daily aggregate rollups cover the last 30 days of public sold listing activity.
- Prices are filtered to $3-$5000 before public aggregation.
- Only aggregate marketplace metrics are exported; buyer identities, auth data, raw payloads, proxy details, and low-volume private details are excluded.
